A uniform length all over (typically 1-2 inches). Face, throat, feet, and base of tail are shaved clean. The most popular and practical style.

Scissored to a fluffy length all over including the face, creating a rounded, stuffed-animal appearance. The face is left rounder than the Puppy Clip.

Classic show cut with shaved hindquarters, pompons on hips and ankles, full mane on the front, and a shaped topknot.

Clean face, feet, and tail base with pompons on all four ankles and a full body coat left at medium length.

- Brush every 1-2 days — the curly coat mats rapidly, especially close to the skin where it is invisible until painful.
- Use a slicker brush followed by a fine-tooth metal comb; if the comb catches, there is a mat the brush missed.
- Clean ears weekly with a veterinarian-approved solution — Toy Poodles are highly prone to ear infections.
- Professional grooming every 3-6 weeks is non-negotiable; longer intervals lead to matting that must be shaved off.
- Tear staining is common in Toy Poodles — wipe around the eyes daily with a damp cloth.
