Cairn Terrier
The Cairn Terrier, one of Scotland's oldest terrier breeds and the original Toto from The Wizard of Oz, has a profuse, hard outer coat with a short, dense, soft undercoat. The wiry outer coat is designed to resist water and repel dirt. Hand stripping preserves the harsh terrier texture and true coat color; clipping softens the coat over time.
