Sussex Spaniel

The Sussex Spaniel is a rare, low-slung British spaniel breed with a rich golden-liver coat that has a characteristic wavy, dense texture. The coat is flat to slightly wavy with moderate feathering on the ears, legs, and underbelly — less profuse than Cocker Spaniel feathering but still requiring regular brushing and professional trimming. Their unique rolling gait and deep golden-liver color are the breed's defining features.
