Lakeland Terrier
The Lakeland Terrier is a compact, athletic working terrier from the Lake District of England, bred to hunt fox in the rugged fell country alongside hounds. The dense, wiry double coat provides excellent weather protection on exposed hillsides. Like other wire-coated terriers, hand stripping produces the correct texture and color required in the show ring.
