English Mastiff

The English Mastiff is one of the heaviest dog breeds in the world, with a short, dense, close-lying double coat that requires very little coat maintenance. The breed's primary grooming challenges are its prominent facial wrinkles — particularly the deep nose wrinkle and brow folds — and its lip folds, which trap saliva, food, and moisture after every meal. Despite minimal coat care, the Mastiff's skin maintenance routine must be performed diligently to prevent painful skin fold infections.
