Definition
Sensory hairs on the muzzle, cheeks, and eyebrows that help dogs navigate space. Should not be trimmed.
Why It Matters
Cutting whiskers disorients dogs temporarily and is banned in some countries.

Clipper work around the muzzle should preserve whiskers — scissor carefully around them.
